SportsAuction Hosts Its Largest Auction Ever
This Week's Auction Approaches $0.5 Million Milestone
ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 17, 1999-- AuctionAnything.com, Inc. (OTC BB:UBUY - news) announced Tuesday that this week's SportsAuction, which started on Monday, Aug. 16 and ends on Sunday, Aug. 22, contains nearly 3500 lots whose cumulative list price is approximately $0.5 million.

SportsAuction 110 contains 45 lots whose list price is at least $1000 and includes high-end collectibles featuring Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, Mickey Mantle, Roberto Clemente, Ted Williams and Willie Mays among others. The crown jewel in the auction is a complete 407 card set of 1952 Topps baseball cards which includes the Topps Mantle rookie card.

While list price may not be a true measure of street value, it is an indication of the rarity of the merchandise in the auction. The SportsAuction web site can be found at sportsauction.com.
