torben, i'm with you (although not as much). take a deep breath and step back for a few days. there are some real positives to go with the negatives. LGND does not have to look for additional financing. they have all they need at $14 / share from Elan. that is a major plus. maybe Elan and LGND mgt. will take another look here at TO because there would be major cost savings in merging the marketing / admin. groups. certainly limits the upside potential but that TO would be worth 14-18.
