<<Can the gold truck and the stock truck co-exist? -ng- >>
Dunno. Doncare! -g- Like that HM buy this morning. It saw a A big ramp at the close - last trade was a block of 107,500 at 8 13/16 - day's high.
I bought some poots on NDB this morning and sensed that it might rocket at the close. Got out with just 3/4 point loss on the $12 ITM contract. Phew!

they can co-exist. they did so in '87 for instance...
today was proof positive that nothing will stop the mania. i'm considering raising my year end target for the Dow again. no figure strikes me as too absurd. companies with no revenues and earnings to speak of are awarded multi-billion market caps which grow in steps of several hundred millions by the day without raising an eyebrow anywhere - it's truly amazing. if the stock market were taken as a benchmark to determine the value of money, one would have to conclude that money can't be worth much anymore. this is in striking contrast to the picture painted by the phony "no inflation" reports provided by the government. the inflation is there for all to see...it's in the stock market.
