In my opinion the DSMB would of recommended that Xoma fold up the tent long ago if bad data was afoot. Some of you need to contact the company and ask specific questions. I won't provide much more info now because I am in process of possibly accumulating more shares. I hope everyone can understand that. I will say that most of what is being speculated on this board is utter nonsense. I will tell you this: The guy at Bloomberg that wrote the now famous piece is under shall we say extreme pressure from institutional investors to come up with something new and accurate. I would expect to see something soon and maybe it just might include an interview with Castello. Don't hold me to accuracy of any of the above. Do your own research. Don't rely on anything I post, always. Standard K apply just like Bob always says. Good luck and good hunting to all.

It's certainly been an interesting 24 hours...I laughed, I cried, I think I even messed my shorts, but in the end, the "hero" didn't die.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I expected a worse day. Xoma is trading where it was just eight weeks ago and still (if we look soley at the FACTS, which are few) holds much promise. That fact was confirmed by today's trading, IMO.

So now we wait a few more weeks for the Men. results. I guess I can live with that. In the meantime, we can ponder such things as:

* what the September DSMB review of Trauma will reveal (a market nearly 100 times bigger than Meningo.)

* news on other collaberations?

* what Sutro or other houses have to say in the days/weeks ahead?

* and, of course, whether we'll ever hear from Ellen again OR, if Xoma will ever talk to Bloomberg again.

Now I need a day off from XOMA!
