Probably, as you have suggested, just profit taking. I know of no other reason but we'll have to see what the word in the bar is this evening. It would appear that the road to Research Capital's $125/share will have some bumps on it. <gg> Later, grayhairs

Re: Sell off? IMO the sell off today was due to nervous investors not being informed of the activities on the site. ELK's new release yesterday stated "While drilling the Temblor section, the well lost circulation and gas was flared under a controlled situation. Mud circulation is being restored under current operations". This statement may have made a lot of people wonder if ELK can control this beast and resume drilling. I understand that they regained circulation and resumed drilling this afternoon. ELK should announce this information, otherwise we will see more selling tomorrow!
