IMHO, The Dells earnings and future outlook they have provided is going to lite a fire under the entire Nasdaq including internet stocks as well. I have a feeling we are on our way to record highs very soon on the Nas. Time to go long in a big way!!

Mohan,

This was the BEST forward-looking statement from the conference call:

Company founder, chairman and CEO Michael Dell said uncertainty about new PC purchases tied to potential Year 2000 glitches is diminishing, and that overall demand should be very healthy in the current year's second half.

``Based on what customers are telling us, we expect sequential industry growth to follow historical trends, Y2K notwithstanding,' Dell said in a statement.

What an amazing company, huh? But of course we already knew that <G>

Cody Acree of Southwest Securities was on CNBC a few minutes ago now saying that DELL is definitely a buy on dips. This was the same guy who downgraded the stock a few months ago! Why is CNBC not bringing on Dan Niles now??? He is saying some very nice things finally, but have a feeling if he was bearish he would have been front and center on all the CNBC shows. Am I right?
