Looks like Dell is 2½ over first call with a very upbeat converence call so it bodes well for the sector tomorrow. Heres a few articles - Lycos, Dell earnings could boost Net stocks cbs.marketwatch.com and July Net advertising nearly doubles Internet advertising rose 7.4 percent in July, according to Nielsen/Net Ratings, Inc.'s Internet Advertising Index. This nearly doubles the rate of growth achieved in June. cbs.marketwatch.com

~OT~ DELL... Came in at two cents over consensus estimates and at the high end of whisper #s (EPS of 0.19).... What a monster quarter -- just unbelievable. 260% return on invested capital. 6 days of inventory at the end of the quarter. $30 million in sales per day via the Web (40% of total sales). Growing margins for operating and net income, even in the face of intense pricing pressure. Wow! biz.yahoo.com BTW: Do you think AMZN will ever have a triple digit ROIC <G>? Best Regards, Scott
