To All: I divested myself of my 1.8K shares today. When I originally invested in Xoma last fall it was my intention to wait until P3 trials were completed and hope that the results were an unequivocal success. Unfortunately, IMO there is no such thing as an equivocal success, but that appears to be what Xoma is telling us. Based upon company statements I still think it is possible that Neuprex will receive FDA approval. As another poster said, marginally efficacy is better than nothing at all. But, marginal efficacy will make off-label use less likely and Meningococcemia is, unfortunately for the children, a small target disease. For those who still wish to speculate on Xoma, I believe the P3 trials for hemorrhagic shock are due for completion late in the year and that should represent an excellent opportunity to take another shot at Neuprex. I would like to personally thank virtually all the regular Posters to this board. I (try to) cover about 20 different message boards and I can state unequivocally that the Xoma board is the very best. The quality of the posts on this board were second to none, and except for an occasional "testy" moment, this board was more like a well-run classroom with many teachers and one student (me). If there were such a thing as justice and if a stock's price were based upon the intelligence of it's shareholders, Xoma would be worth $100/share today. George, if we consider this board a classroom you certainly qualify as it's principal. You're easily the most interesting person I met on this board. Tharos, you were second. No hard feelings about that President Clinton thing. If any of the regular posters on this board have any favorite stocks that they had the same passion for as Xoma, I hope you'll consider posting them to me privately. My thanks to everyone, Ed S. P.S. Until further notice, I will be going IL (Intermittent Lurker)
