Orders grew to the highest level in the company's history, and will grow even further in the fourth quarter. Of course the RATE of order growth must slow.

From my experience in the T&M industry (including ATE), there is a definite slow down in Europe during July and August. Everyone takes vacations at the same time, factories shut down completely, etc. This is one reason EU productivity lags the US and Japan. This would definitely be a second order effect compared to overall demand cyclicality of the industry but it does exist, IMHO at least for Europe.
