Dan, the decision to price down the soon to be obsolete systems is a good one. Get this junk off the shelves and wet the appetites of the consumer for the new, faster, super cool system.

As to the date of Playstation, the last I heard on this thread was January in Japan and parts of Asia, maybe October in the U.S. Your article says nothing different since it is discussing U.S. marketing practices.
