It's an oil company! It's a ministry! Wait - you're both right!

IMO, NESS is NOT a sound investment, and it may be an outright scam, taking advantage of fundamentalist Christian believers.

"And think about it, God never, ever, ever created one barrel of oil, one gold nugget, one ounce of silver, or one ounce of platinum for the devil. Hello?! He created for God's people so that God's people could take the Gospel throughout the world. Now tell me, who has the majority of it today? Why?! Because we have not really believed that. We haven't believed that. We've thought that we supposed to be poor. I'm here to tell you that we not supposed to be poor. We supposed to be rich!...in things, stuff, resources so that we can take the Gospel throughout the world. Not for our goods, that we've already proved. If we get rich for ourselves, we'll go right straight to hell! Money will send you to hell...if it's your god. But if God is your God, and you have tremendous wealth...and that's what God is looking for. He's looking for men and women who will stay before Him to get their hearts pure, so that they can handle supernatural wealth, because He's fixing to turn it loose! It's coming into the system so that we can take the Gospel throughout the world."

Other oldsters may remember an evangelist named Rev. Ike, who made a fortune 20-25 years ago by preaching, "God will make you rich. Send me your money and it shall be returned tenfold." [with appropriate bible quotes, of course.] It's a shame that in these more "enlightened" times, people can still get suckered in by promises of wealth and salvation.

Don't forget, Occidental Oil spent many million$ looking for oil over there, and came up dry. NESS says they didn't find oil because It wasn't God's time yet nessenergy.com

Caveat emptor!!

...Mezz - "Is money your problem? Send me your problems!" - Rev. Ike

The CFO and director Ivan W. Webb, is curious. His bio in your link, John, says: He is currently President of Black Giant Oil Company, a public company also listed on the Electronic Bulletin Board.

Well, Black Giant trades under the symbol BGOCE. It's a OTC-BB reverse merger, of course, and it has no operations. The filings are under the former name Signature Motorcars. Despite the E, they appear to be current in filing. The filings show that they have assets of a $24 k, and shareholders equity of $9 k. Revenue last quarter was $90. (These figures are actual dollars ... they are not in thousands or millions.)

Black Giant has a stock price of 0.040. With 7 M shares out, that gives it a market cap of $280 k, which appears to be a bit high, considering it is 31X book. I wonder how long it will be before NESS market cap drops to $280 k.
