<Of the five Janus equity funds that have been around since 1994 and thus qualify for our grading system, four receive stellar marks, and the worst is still above average. Twelve of the 14 stock funds have outperformed the almost unbeatable S&P 500 from their inception. Of the two that trail, one lags by a fraction of a percent over 14 years; the other invests overseas, where in its five-year existence it has dramatically outperformed applicable benchmarks and similarly directed funds.
