The first time I ever felt an earthquake I was drunk and sitting on a toilet, head between my hands. Scared me until I figured out that it wasn't me. That scared me too.

Now you have me worried about our friends in SF. Was it worse for them?

It was better than a mild sway where I was ... We were rocking in our chairs. I thought at first a boat had hit the dock outside the place. I haven't felt one like that for a good long while. Nothing like the one that scary October though. I didn't get the feeling anyone was hurt in this one. I could feel it last time.
