Downsouth, Imo, ebbers, who is a very mouthy individual, went way over the line by constantly blaming LU for a sw glitch (which it was not then) continuing on about how LU picking up ASND was a problem and that LU was to blame for the entire mess, which is far from the truth. LU sat on the sidelines like a good vendor for a week but simply could not deal with that crap. From what i have heard from various people, there was a significant effort involved in trying to find a workaround to the mistakes made that would allow the system to remain up, as WCOM clearly wanted. As much as you want to say that the customer is always right, ebbers went way over the line and simply was not. To add insult to injury, the guy publicly claims that they are not committed to going forward as planned, now potentially affecting other business in the works by LU. In any other situation, it borders on libel.
