Ga Bard, thanks for the documentation. <<Can it be a broker could be selling stock and not have to transfer it till after it all is sold or do they have to get good delivery on the stock prior to selling it into the market.>> Not a broker, but an MM can naked short to "maintain a good market". However, they must balance their books once a month. Maybe we have some that aren't? I think the company can get them to show their books for the stock. Just the request may be all it takes to force compliance, JMHO.
