Oh, that's so nice. You probably felt free to make the joke because you liked him, and it felt safe. The only joke having anything to do with bathrooms I ever did was awfully mean. I was once outside watering the garden and I realized my husband was in the house (at his parents' house), in the bathroom, naked and about to take a shower, and something made me go up to the window and squirt the hose through it at him. His parents weren't home, needless to say. His brothers thought it was funny, but he didn't. I wish I hadn't done it. I think I thought for a moment i was in a cartoon, and not real life.
