The preview has been messed up before, and I might have tried that if I'd remembered to copy the message. I could rewrite the message, except that I'm very irritated right now and not ready to go through that process. I understand that things like this can be expected on a beta system. I should not happen on a production system. This bug is destroying messages written by users. For this product (a discussion web site), it's a category-one data-loss bug that would cause any company making a shrink-wrap product to pull it off the line and trash the current run.
