I would do taht. I think it sounds funny and mischevious. Of course, as with all pranks, there are bad times to do them. Then we say a sincere, "oops, couldn't help myself. Let me bring a glass of wine to sip while you bathe". Works every time.

He was tired, it had been a long day, the water was cold. He's very, very nice, and has forgiven me for much worse sins than that.

I am a cat, so I don't much like wet - let alone wet and cold. Spouse is a dog - and loves water and isn't particular about temperature. But the one time I sportingly backhanded an unannounced cup of not-hot water over the shower curtain is an event for which i still haven't completely atoned.
Two weeks later she did it to me. I was NOT amused, but didn't say peep. Fair was fair after all.
