Yes. AOL is not quite a puppy anymore but I was talking about the internet being in its infancy. AOL had to wait for the internet to catch on and we certainly can't complain how AOL is progressing since more and more people came on line. It takes a lot more capital to built AOL's empire than it did for Dell to make his boxes. Not to say that Dell didn't do a great job. He kept up with the times. Yes, Case sold probably double what Dell sold but so what? Any good money manager will tell you not to keep too much in one place. I should take this advice about not being too concentrated.

Anyhow. How do you expect AOL to built out their strategy on the net and repurchase shares at the same time? I don't think Dell's business model would work for AOL. Just keep things on hand for a cpl of days or so. I can't remember how much M. Dell sold %wise when his holdings were smaller. Actually I was not too crazy about that big insider sell in AOL either. I had posted that. But it's not the biggest sell I have ever seen in cos. that I hold shares in.

Good going on QCOM. You and Frank M. got tired at the right time even though Frank M. still owns the bulk of his Dell shares. gg.

One money manager said on Monday night that investors will look back in 2 years and marvel on how cheap AOL was back then. Sure hope he is right.

BTW. I can remember sev. times when Dell's stock price got cut in half and I am not talking about a split here. It was painful then with Dell just as it is painful now with AOL.
