stock market decides to ignore evil Yen....i take that as a sign of strength. even the bond market has overcome it's initial concern. as mentioned before, the dollar index, utilities and transports looked to be the last islands of hope for the bears. since they refuse to co-operate in any meaningful way there is obviously no reason left to remain bearish. thus every dip should be bought. note also that the emotional mania barometer, the i-nuts, show that courage has returned full force to the market. i am referring to the courage to pay up for overpriced stocks - as long as it remains that way the path of least resistance remains up.

Gold was up 70 cents this morning and now it retreats by 60 cents.
