Good post, been there, done that and A@P and followers can sting bad. It is foolish to provoke.

I don't follow A@P regularly but have come to generally respect his judgement. Some of his recent posts have been personal'ish but I don't think there is anyone out there that has been attacked more personnally than he has been. If you are in for the long term, you have to be prepared for the short term bumps. Shorters in a good stock will only end up propelling it skyward when they cover. If you are in for swings, then go along with him. I can't see how he ultimately affects my long term holdings but have seen him point out the 'garbage' pretty well. And he posts publicly for all to see (ok, he does have a private site) as opposed to fraudulent companies and market makers that manipulate stocks. Overall, I think having him around is a good thing. RE: IDTC - if I was watching the market full time, I would have shorted IDTC at the IPO and bought later but I have to ignore the bumps.
