Neocon, I watched on television as Nikita Chruschev's(Sorry, spelling)descendant was sworn in as an American citizen. And although I felt proud as an American, I also felt very sad. I remembered what has happened during all those years of the "Cold War", how many people have died in service for their countries.
And now, a former Russian leader's descendant is an American citizen. I only pray that all of the people who gave their lives for their countries will not have done so in vain.
