people with limited funds HAVE to play it safe...all it would take is one bad mo mo play and you could get wiped out.....lets say you make 100 a day after commission...that is not bad for a couple stroke of the keys

Ossnat... Tim is right... there is nothing wrong in buying 100 shares of CSCO. If you make $100 after commissions, that's not a bad day trade.

To help me keep things in perspective... my wife took an old pay stub of mine and nailed it on the wall where I see it constantly. It's a reminder that I had to work 8 plus hard hours to make $150.

I've long since learned, but still remain somewhat surprised, that if I make $100 here and there and avoid serious losses, by week's end I'm a happy fella. Every now and then a home run comes along - but my first objective is to make contact, not hit a home run.

you know i would never say anything to insult you....i'm just trying to get people to understand and learn from my mistakes.....it has cost be a couple hundred thousand dollars in mistakes before i learned how to trade and be successful at it
