Well I have to say I am impressed thus far with the market's strength. Despite the strong negative TICK and high TRIN the NASDAQ is holding up with YHOO, AMZN, DELL and MSFT. Many of the other leaders are also showing surprising resiliency suchas GE, telecom etc.

My long pick for the day gapped up and has been running away without me. Guess I waited a day too long.

WAiting to see if we continue the trading channel from yesterday or they can run some stops and make a new one.

Good Luck,

Lee

Hi Yogi; Well the footprints of a rather large "Fraternity" who
are exploiting the market are all over the place. But proving
anything against them would be as hard as getting the truth about
J.F.K's assassination.

No they don't want the market to crash and
burn and would rather see it continue to trend up, however they
also need and create volatility to make the kind of profits they
want. In time we will have a melt down and they know it ,
but that could be a few years getting here.
Demographics will dictate a future down turn more than anything
else. More people will get old and need money than we have
younger people putting it in.

Stocks in the minds of most people represent money, but all
they really represent are the flow of money & "hope", the
hope someone else will Buy your tickets for more than you
Paid, because the reality is the tickets are worth less than
it would cost to give them away if we run out of buyers,
demography will kill her some day.
Jim
PS

Well maybe my thinking is a tad old fashion, there might be a
way that productivity becomes so robotic and gets so high
that no one needs money anyway, and money just becomes a status
symbol to see how much one can give to the Government.
"give" mind you with no strings attached, sounds silly but
I know of at least one person who did just that.
