Ice, to me a stock like e-bay is a great proxy for the mania in general...it's market cap increased by nearly 10 billion dollars in little over a week. irrespective of whether Mr. Blodget now 'likes the stock' or not, this goes to show how utterly devoid of reason this market has become. i agree that it makes little sense to try and stand in the way of the bubble, but one can try from time to time to bet on at least a temporary return of reason. nevertheless one has to tread carefully - especially now. i repeat that my current expectation is for another short term correction to be followed by an incredible blow-off rally. once the blow-off is completed we'll get the crash everyone seems to be waiting for. bookmark this post so we can later check if i was right.
