I'd say #1 is a very important fundamental change.
But more important is something mentioned, just not emphasized.
ORCL IS an internet stock, more so than the internuts themselves. Why? Because they virtually all use or rely on ORCL....and that is an expanding field both in terms of ongoing license fees and NEW fees.

This was true a year ago...but not as well understood or recognized. THAT is a truly fundamental change.

Oracle backs H-P's 'e-speak' effort

Oracle said Wednesday morning it will incorporate
Hewlett-Packard's Internet services offering into its
database.

The two companies also plan to establish labs at
each company's headquarters to work in this area.
H-P (HWP: news, msgs) launched "e-speak," an
electronic-commerce initiative, a few months ago.
Using e-speak, for instance, a surfer can have
online "search agents" track down bargain airfares
or a limited-edition novel.

ps: You'll find a lot of us in this thread are Oracle DBA /or Oracle consultants.

#1 might be most important of all, imo because fund managers are the ones who can actually move stocks up or down, not you and I.
