POG just started a majour downtrend. kitco.ca; Don't you hate that when that happens?? <VBG> Scuttlebutt is that the Fed may be forced to intervene in concert with the BOJ to correct the dollar's decline against the yen. That will put the squeeze on those who have speculated against the dollar, thus placing pressure on the POG. Your opinion? Regards, Ron

Hutch, <<Did Goldman Sachs just bust a move.>> I am impressed. I did not give any credence to the discussion that SA's announcement towards selling gold for debt relief is behind the sell-off today. The Le Metropole people think that it was Goldman Sachs who sold aggressively as soon as the London market closed. <<Gold retreated $1.80 today. Goldman Sachs came out a seller of December gold today on the Comex around midday. Midas learned that that the shorts have been told that they will receive the gold they need to avert a true squeeze at this point in time. When Goldman received this information, they became aggressive sellers.>>
