I wonder if they asked the contact about their options positions initiated recently before the blodgett bombshell? :) ----------------- a contact at the firm disputed the notion that it was merely "plugging the names" it's underwritten."

6 of the 8 in the Christmas basket underwritten by Merrill Eric, this is my interpretation of Blodgett/ML logic: 1. The public buys Janus(Mutuals)etc..to participate in the 65% annual gain...they said, Geez..I need to do the 10% allocation.... 2. The 8M on-line A/Cs are looking for the famous 10-bagger bulls call. We are all encouraged to take charge of our own fianacial/retirement futute and lots of us are charging into it. We don't use brokers anymore, we watch CNBC and pay attention to the "analysts". New and improved career field for "those people who analyze stocks"; they will take it!
