well yeah, that's the constant struggle: when to take a profit and when to sit there at b/e and look for more? The other week I was short Stamps and it dropped 4 bucks and I covered and said yippee! took the rest of the day off and came home to see it closed down $11 from my entry... that really sucked. I was long the ZON from 96.75, what 2 or 3 days ago?!? and sold it for a buck... but of course my selective memory is forgetting all the times I got out at a good point with a small gain... when i trail em I get a point or stopped b/e, when I cover or sell they run another 5 bucks... I often feel like Rodney Dangerfield: I just don't get no respect. ;-)
