Cisco and Ink took a lot of heat from the ISP vendors for not participating in the Bake-off and the only ones who discredited it were those that did not participate. Its funny that MSFT's solution was not in the list either. It would have been more funny if they participated. So if the bake-off was so discredited, why then has Cisco promised to participate in the next bake-off? Sounds like they are speaking out of both sides of their mouths. "The bake-off was a farse - but we'll be at the next one for sure" DownSouth, I know you are attempting to discredit the most serious attempt in the industry so far at identifying the best Caching solution, but your comments go in the same pile as those like Cisco and INK that cried sour milk when they knew they couldnt compete. Enough said. We'll see how these non-entrants do on the next event later this year. Novell's ICS would have beat Cisco and Ink in the spring and they will beat them in the next event. By the way - since you seem to know so much about the skewed testing process, exactly what components in the bake-off were tainted? Why were vendors like IBM in the testing if they knew the process was flawed? Quit with the sour grapes and admit that your so-called big caching players have been exposed for what their products are truly limited to. PS - MSFT can't even hope to play in this field as long as NT is the base OS for the Caching engine. Toy
