I agree, no motivation (didn't mean to imply that), but there were some quotes from Mrs. Starr in the local paper saying she "couldn't believe it" that their kid was not wanted in the dorms etc. I mean come on. Personally I don't think I'd be too happy if I paid 25K/year to go to Stanford and found out a Starr was my roommate, its unfair to the other student who gets stuck. The Starr kids might want to go to Stanford, who doesn't want to, but arrangements should be made for housing, etc.
