as i recall, bob's advice was to stay fully invested in the proper allocations but to be quite vigilant and watchful. Sounds like you are pulling the bear trigger based on your own level of comfortability which is understandable based on your perspective these past few months. Time will tell...

Sorry to be "a Pain", but, The meaning of "sometime in the near future" is THE CRUX of my question about divergence.

How many closes = "near future", or

Is THE END OF the "near future period" triggered by the start of a short term change in market direction such as a pullback to test the current correction lows? Or

If we get a bear market, is the divergence deleted in the next bull market when all 3 averages exceed the July 16 highs ?
