In general, converts can be sold on their own

So there would be market makers for convertible preffered
shares as well--unless they've never traded, which in
my situation seems to be the case. These shares are
privately held, apparently by some sort of a hedge
fund--Brown and Simpson.

It is not too big a deal, the toxic keeps downward
pressure on my stock, but I either get stopped out
or I don't. In the meantime, I just want to be sure
I have a clear picture of the whole situation. I
guess I did know that there was a formula--I keep
forgeting about the bad stuff, putting it out of mind:
It was something like the average of the four lowest
bids in the last four weeks preceeding conversion.

Thanks Michael.
