DN, No, it means Dell came in exactly where I expected them to. Yes, revenue growth is still in a tail spin and they did poorly considering the fact that Compaq fell apart, but this # was enough to send the retards back on parade in this dog. This is the last good number, IMHO. They now face much tougher comparisons and I expect CPQ to repeat the strategy that saved them from bankruptcy in 1991, a price war. I expected the price war this time, but it looks like the CPQ board was waiting to name a CEO. Now, the goof has to prove he has cojones.
