U.S. Bank, based in Minneapolis, is the bank that not long ago was in trouble for selling its customers financial information. Given the timing of their current name complaint against USABanc.com and the launching of the USABanc.com site it seems apparent that they are simply trying to damage a potentially huge competitor. Where were they before the launch! Where were they when it was publicly announced that USABanc.com was the first FDIC registered .com bank etc. The weak dollar may also be hurting our current value along with this name confusion but IMO USAB will weather these. It would be nice if damages could be sought from U.S. Bank.

For what it's Worth

USABanc was stupid to risk interfering with USABank.
USABanc was stupid for wasting marketing on USABanc.com
USABanc's legal counsel are a bunch of ill advised idiots.

in the end, only optimistic shareholders suffer.
