Article in Williamette newspaper that Sequent had some questionable sale orders at the end of March. Sounds like they pre-shipped orders on the expectation of finalizing an order with Federal Data. The market is nervous that there could be other questionable orders. I would think IBM has done their homework and this news doesn't affect the deal.

Wilamette Week is a cheezy local free weekly publication that is Portland's best way to get venereal disease by responding to their boy/girl, girl/boy, girl/girl, and boy/boy ads in the back.

They fancy themselves as savvy hip generation journalists with campy local articals. Some employee at local Sequent Computer tipped them off about shipments before orders that didn't materialize.

I guess Willamette Week just got hipper.
