DownSouth: From the 5 and 10 day charts I looked at (bigcharts), the morning gaps were mixed between up and down. Bipolar thinking. All I really noticed was the 45 degree angle of ascent! Good observation though, it doesn't seem to hurt to buy in am and sell in pm if one is a daytrader, with or without the gaps.
