On the other hand, I have seen some utterly bizarre rationales for valuing 'net stocks--stocks whose subsequent swoons have made all too clear that the "valuation methods" being used were mere justifications for going with momentum and not any real attempt to work out another valuation technique (tool). BTW, don't I dimly recall that securities analysis is a science, not an art? The valuations at their highs on anything with a .com suggested the worst of nonrepresentational art to me. <evil snicker>
