That's what I've tried to develop for myself as well. My current system predictably tells me where safe strike prices are that I can sell. I still have to watch the market because new history can always be made. I am currently trying to develop a system that will predictably deal with new record months and still allow me a win. KFE watches the tick and trin to help him decide when to close out the short leg and hold the long. So, I am looking at how this can predictably work. But am always open to other ideas as I work through this scenario. I have to be able to manage a looser properly, even if they only happen 10 % of the time.
