How about adding NS - cut from todays news:

For the investor seeking a small cap steel investment, MacGregor states, ''I like National Steel (NYSE: NS - news). It has the highest degree of operating leverage within the upper end of the integrated steel group, so if steel prices are recovering, this company will see a more pronounced earnings reaction to that improvement than any other integrated steel company. On the other hand, if steel prices are going to roll over and die on you, you don't want to be anywhere near this company! However, prices are pretty much washed out, and we're much closer to the bottom of the pricing cycle than we are to the top.''

SSP, this could be a good candidate for the rumor list. Should be verified by another person before addition.

spoke to Barry Kaplan regarding Veltex Corp. (VLVT). He said VLVT took over the CSMA shell the beginning of June. No dilution going on. He also informed me that Mr. Matin told him they would be filing with the SEC within about 2 weeks.

The company they are looking at acquiring is in South Carolina and he believes they have contacts with JC Penney. VLVT plans on taking the looms from South Carolina to Bangladesh where labor is much cheaper.

good luck to all,
IC, long VLVT; not a buy recommendation
