i would like to point out the news was broken first by dow jones, and then telefonica and idtc confirmed the story. hence there announcement was sooner than either party had anticipated. further, unless the analysts are on some remote part of the earth with no phones, they can easily dial into a cc. they have put out the details for investors instead of a no commment, and i am unsure why there is so much discussion about the non-cc. even to the point some claimed it could tank the stock after they did not release more news on the deal. instead the stock is up over 3 points w/o a cc. i say we don't need no stinking cc. based on the anlayst reports you posted, it would appear they called the company and filled in any gaps they had, and re-issued there buy recs with the new news.

are you suggesting none of the analyst reports you posted commenting on the telefonica deal had them calling the company or the company calling the analysts to give them information on the deal they may need, further than the news release? based on the fact idtc has risen over 3 points since the telefonica deal from 15 to over 18, one might surmise 1. the analysts have been briefed who wanted to be 2. people like the news 3. only we on this board seemed pre-occupied about the cc 4. maybe investors find the deal pleasing now and in the future based on the past hispanic market penetration idtc has employed 5. there might be bigger and better news coming? p.s. i promise not to comment on the cc again.
