the only thing I like about aol is the mail...I think that is set up well and I can't spell so that helps me...wish SI had a spell checker built in....also if your using SI and Aol I have noticed sometimes there are real long periods when no post show up on the system usually in the early afternoon....I now have a PC on a t1 line connection with netscape as well as my mac on a modem line with aol so I can compare directly ....sometimes post show up 45 minutes late on the aol based system!!!!

I have a Charter Pipeline cable modem. They use Earthlink. Right now, it is a jury-rigged modem, cable download, dial-up upload, which lately has been getting interrupted. Supposedly they won't kick you off for 6 hours, but they lied. Also supposedly are upgrading my area as we speak (no) so I can then be rid of the dialup.
