Fabulous article.

The plot thickens.

This one will be a blast to watch. Hopefully there's bucks to be made.

Gotta luv the press releases though. Just enough data to get you interested then poof, no substance. The phase I ain't what I'd call a proven, glowing, safety profile. This thing could invoke a nasty immune response in some customers. The time of the trial and reduction of marker are a joke.

Discovery of the compound was a damn mystery to me. Still waiting on the Raz, Platt paper.

Yesterday I started to mention how lucky this guy Platt was. He has like 3 papers on carbohydrates and whammo! cure for cancer....go figure.

All this is just my opinion, of course, I have no position in SAFS.

I would like to know exactly which patent it is that covers GBC 590. I read some of the patents and saw that Dr. Platt did not assign them to IGG (the subsidiary of SAFS) but only licensed them, one for only until 2002. If that one was for GBC 590 that would be just long enough for studies (paid for by the shareholders of SAFS) to give Platt some idea how effective the drug was. If it looked like he had a winner he would then control the revenue stream that would result and the shareholders would/could be cut out. Any longs factoring that possibility into their valuation models?
