The agreements we were referring to were primarily licenses of our W-OFDM technology. The agreement of the August 4th announcement is for joint work towards selling and integrating larger networks.

Logicorp partners with Glentel to supply wireless network infrastructure for Saskatchewan Valley schools

VANCOUVER, Aug. 13 /CNW/ via NewsEdge Corporation -- Glentel Inc. TSE Stock Symbol: GLN Glentel has been chosen by Logicorp to design, implement and maintain a wireless network for Saskatchewan Valley School Division No.49. The school division, which encompasses seventeen schools across west central Saskatchewan, contracted with Logicorp to build a network infrastructure based on wireless technologies. The system is designed to provide a wireless high speed Internet access for all schools in the division in order to enhance the students' and staff's access to the Internet for enhanced learning. The system will also allow for faster data interchange for other school business requirements. The wireless product chosen was Calgary-based WiLAN's Hopper Plus, operating at 2.4 Ghz. The WiLAN wireless bridges will provide 4.5 Mbs LAN extensions between the seventeen sites. The wireless portion of the network is valued at approximately $275,000 and will be completed by the end of October of this year. Glentel is one of Canada's leading business and personal wireless integrated solution providers. It operates over 240 antenna sites in Canada, 11 Glentel wireless business centres, and 11 wireless retail stores, integrating products and services utilizing mobile two-way radio, data, satellite, paging, cellular and PCS to meet the needs of a broad range of customer applications. Glentel is an authorized dealer for Cantel AT&T, Fido (Microcell), ClearNet PCS, ClearNet MIKE network, Motorola two-way radio and MSAT.

Personally, I'm not expecting the two "August announcements" to come out until September sometime. In my experience, EVERYTHING takes longer than expected or desired.
