Rudedog--- Agreed but DELL (and everyone else) is where the investors are at. CPQ will need to pull some unbelievable earnings to move much... it does not even ride the coat tails of others any more. If they sell the stock in the companies the invested in that IPOed recently and keep selling NONcore holdings they may make enough to, if not come back into favor, at least stabilize somewhere in this area.

it has reached an agreement with Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE:CPQ)
to acquire Compaq's Embedded and Real-time product line and business.
The business includes hardware and software products and technologies
as well as a worldwide team of over 100 hardware, software, and
applications developers and engineers, as well as marketing, sales, and
management professionals. The transaction is expected to close shortly
subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
