Bluegreen,
What does the FDA have to do with a potential difference between a company and a news source. It is a very simple matter to prove the news provider was WRONG. How can the FDA be opposed to the truth. The interview was given by a XOMA employee....did XOMA get FDA approval for this interview? Tying to make Ellen and the FDA the scapegoats in this process is absurd. Please tell me why the CFO gave the interview to CBS...Again! Did the FDA approve this interview by the CFO? You apparently have no concern about XOMA talking to other entities without the blessings of the FDA. Amazing!

I find it hard to believe that some people think the FDA is so callous toward the people of this country.
