Oil giant BP Amoco will install Internet-connected kiosks at gas pumps. The new pumps will include Web browsers and Microsoft's Windows CE operating system. Users can get traffic reports and weather updates -- and advertising, of course -- while they pump. BP execs say they chose WinCE because it works well with Windows NT, which they use in the convenience stores at about half of the 900 company-owned gas stations they have in the U.S. Click for more. We're not sold on the idea of lingering around the pump to surf the Net. But tell us what you think.
