Richnorth, i currently expect the correction to resume (it may have begun today), we could even get a scary decline...but thereafter i expect an almost perpendicular blow-off rally that will astound us all with it's speed and extent.

regards,

hb

The two AC's eh? I think that Abbey is just extrapolating the past into the future (the trend is her friend), while Arch is much more bold, bravely attempting to predict major turning points and or crashes in the market. Who is going to be right? Me. <GGG> Arch reads my posts, or used to on Prodigy Classic anyway. I'm looking for a good old fashioned bear market to appear between now and next May, the kind that we have not seen for many many years. While I do not rule out a crash along the way, at this time, I do not see anything closely resembling the horrible crash of Sept/Oct 1987 in the cards, at least percentage wise. A "mini-crash" of one or two thousand Dow points in a time frame of a few weeks would be more like all we should get this time around, but unlike last time, I do not see the almost immediate recovery that followed in the wake of 1987.
