Gary.. I agree that SCKT is in good shape. Microsoft is looking at the phone card and connectivity kit as an avenue to increase sales of CE units. Internet access with the Palm Pilot is limited and expensive. As always, when MSFT sees a marketing advantage, they drive a truck through it. SCKT will sell A LOT of phone cards.

A few points:
SCKT's phone card is the ONLY option for connecting CE devices to phones in this country. Other cables which we have seen mentioned in various press releases have a DB9 connector, which, if I understand correctly, will work with notebooks but not CE devices.

Also, these "cables" take power from the phone, not the CE device. SCKT's phone card draws minimal current from the CE unit. In terms of battery life, the phone is limiting.

Modem solutions draw much more power from the computer than SCKT's card and may not prove competitive.

HEY!! SCKT's two biggest products are not yet on the market. The In-hand scanner is rolling out later this quarter (with excellent demand) and the phone card should be available to Bell Mobility in the coming days/weeks.

Things should rev up by late September/ early October.
Good luck.

I'm very hopeful you are right -- and anyway, at the price I bought this stock, I've got nothing to complain about. If I had more guts (and money!) I'd buy more.
