Ain't it the truth? Ain't it the truth? Too funny, I was cheering all the time.

arno, Jackie Mason gave the best run-down on the Clinton's I've ever seen. Totally hit the cover off the ball. And it was DAMN FUNNY too!

It's going to be a great campaign to watch.

A person with no political track record whatsoever (unless you want to count forming a Star Chamber on to rework 16% of the US economy and changing US foreign policy in the Middle East on the fly as some form of "achievement"), whose handlers operate on the Dick Morris model (pandering as public policy), as a human being - a farce...

V.

Rudy Guiliani - someone with backbone, views, and legitimate passion about making everyday life better for the people he represents + demonstrated political achievements.

What can I say? Guiliani's in my tribe <g>

And he won't be viewed as an embarassment to some of us like "Senator Pothole".

I missed the first part of the gun-liberalization debate, but from what I saw, IMHO John Lott totally decimated whoever "Mr. Generality" was on the other side. The idea that the way to lower gun violence is to liberalize gun laws - yeah, at first blush, ridiculous.

But I took a public policy class at Wharton w/ Prof. Lott a few years ago and based on my firsthand experiences with the guy, I'd venture to guess that his arguments are very tight, his data exhaustively researched, and his methodology sound.

Which sort of makes me want to read the book.

Good trading,

Tom
